I was looking for someone who would work with me to make my Indian-Western, minimal but regal vision come true - Shiza delivered and then some. After my bridal make up trial, which I strongly recommend doing, my mind was immediately at ease. Shiza spent the trial working to understand my vision and gave great recommendations to perfect it.

Booking with her for the wedding weekend was easy - she is quick, communicative and professional. We booked her and her team for myself and my bridesmaids.

On wedding day, Shiza's team blew my bridesmaids and mother away. They arrived early, worked efficiently and more importantly - with everyone's unique features and skin tones. Everyone felt beautiful.

As for my look, Shiza was a godsend. She did my hair, my makeup, got me into my dress + jewelry in a timely manner. Shiza was calm, attentive, had an incredible eye for detail and kept me calm and cool. By the time she was done, I was gliding around the room telling everyone I felt like a princess - and I looked like one too! She was an incredible hype queen afterwards during my first bridal shoot.

I absolutely loved working with Shiza for my wedding events. I did several HMU trials before her and no one seemed to truly understand what I wanted or listened. I was a less traditional bride and wanted a more natural, lighter makeup look free of false lashes, liners, bold lip colors, and heavy contours. Shiza listened to every request I had and checked with me through every step to make sure I loved the way I looked for my Garba, Wedding, and Reception. My hair and makeup lasted all day through bhangra dances, garba, a full evening of partying/smiling for pictures, and more. I have worked with Shiza for my daughter’s Sweet 16. She is very knowledgeable, well versed in skincare, makeup and hair. She understood what looks we wanted to achieve and she delivered exactly that. Fresh, youthful look for my daughter and a light Smokey eye for me. Most importantly, makeup can appear white in photos, there was no makeup flashback and it was not cakey. We didn’t have to re-apply anything throughout the event, it was flawless!

My hair is super straight, fine and thin. I wanted a soft wavy curl. My texture doesn’t allow to hold curls for a long time. With Shiza’s expertise, the curls were super soft, wavy and intact till the end. My daughter and I loved our looks for that day and got so many compliments.

I had the pleasure of working with Shiza for my looks for the New York Fashion Week 2024.

Shiza helped me get ready for my press interviews, for my fashion show walk as well as for the after party for NYFW. She was always punctual, communicative about the plans and very accommodating of my individual needs.

Shiza is very professional and very well versed with make up, hair and beauty products. She was extremely easy to work with and worked to my needed adjustments. She shared her knowledge with me about the products to use, when and why.
